So, I’m nearly 30.  Mike tells me that from his two weeks of experience, that it isn’t all that bad.  As noted a few weeks ago, it’s tradition at myboytheriotgirl, that we each get to program our respective birthday show, disregarding all rules and standards for playlist formatting.  As Mike opted for a bunch of Rilo Kiley, I’ve taken this opportunity to play a bunch of new tracks from one of my favourite artists, Darren Hayman of Hefner ‘fame’.

I also took this opportunity to play some of my favourite tracks by the Mountain Goats, Sarah Slean, Hooded Fang and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.  And just because we like you, some new stuff from Bon Iver and Little Scream.

Also, Zooey Deschanel from She & Him, has a new sit-com out this fall, and seeing the trailer reminded me that I like the music and should play some for you.  Cheers!
